Okay… here is the story so far. Chris, my wife, had emergency eye surgery on Tuesday (4/29) morning for a retinal detachment that was discovered on Monday (4/28). According to the Doctors the case was text book and the surgery went very well. Unfortunately, later Tuesday she had some bad reactions to the whole thing, and was nauseous and in a lot of pain all night.

On Tuesday, we had the follow up, which other than taking 4 hours (of mostly waiting to see the doctor). The changed added some drugs and told us some stuff we should have known right after the surgery. (That is another story, I will not go into at this time.) And now is resting and recovering.

As of this moment she is semi-mobile and can take some of here drugs on her own. She still need help with her drops and anything involving visual details: cooking, reading, driving (which she is not allowed to do), etc. And she is sleeping a lot of time.

Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, and well wishes. We both really appreciate it.

I will post more here as there is news. I expect to be back a work on Monday, once we she how she fairs this weekend and get a support plan and team in place.

Okay folks,

You have all seen that I have reset all of the various feeds and setup a few new ones for my podcasts and the blog. Now I am going to give you a tentative schedule for how all the podcasts are going to be released and a brief description of each. So here goes…

The Snark Tank Radio Variety Hour – Weekly on Saturday:

This show is a purely and entertainment show with a mix of music and audio-drama/OTR/read stories as well as some short bits and/or promos for other cool podcasts or podiobooks.

Snark Tank Radio Late Night – The second and fourth Saturday of each month starting January 12th of 2008:

This is basically the best of my old show done in a late night talk show format. It will have a rant/monologue, a guest interview, and whatever else I decided to throw in.

The HORROR of It All Monthly – The second Saturday of each month starting December 15th of 2007 (yes, I know this is the thrid Saturday in December):

This will be a monthly horror review show. The format I’m planning is to have a bit of news, cover a features review or set of reviews, and then cover some miscellaneous stuff. The last show of the year will be a wrap up or years best show.

The Audio Files Monthly – The third Saturday of each month starting December 29th of 2007 (yes, I know this is the fourth Saturday in December):

This show will be focused on the different audio available to people today: podcasts, music, audiodrama, audiobooks, etc. Each show will have some news, a feature review or set of reviews, and what else I plan to throw in.

I am also working on a show release calendar for the site. I hope to have that up soon.

I found out about this flim over at Ain’t It Cool News call [REC]. It is a Spanish film about fire fighter trapped in a building the zombie incident. I looks way cool. Check out the trailer here.
