I am starting a new podcast to try and help people connect with other people and get help and prayer for the situations they find themselves in. I know a lot of people are hurting right now because of the economy and other things. I want to help but I do not have infinite resources. I do, on the other hand, have a large listener base so I figured I could help by helping to get the word out about peoples needs.

So here is how this works. If you have a situation in your life you would like to ask for prayer or other support about call my voice mail line at 612-276-2755 and leave a short (not more than 2 minute) message giving the details you are comfortable giving about the situation. Be as specific as you can. You may include contact information if you wish, but keep in mind that that contact info will be made public. That means that anyone could call or email you, including those bend on taking advantage of you or your situation. And I am in no way responible for how that contact information will be used.

If you are going to include contact information I recommend you use an email address.

Do not call if you are under the age of 18 without your parents permission.

I will play those voice mails each week in a special show recorded on Mondays after 5:00 PM CT. I will not repeat voicemail messages. If you want your issue to stay infront of people you will have to call back each week. Updates are always great to hear. If I get no voice mails by 5:00 PM CT on Monday of a given week, I will not publish a show that week.

And I hate to have to add this, but I reserve the right to not play any voice mail sent to me. If it sounds like a joke or scam or is just fishy in someway, I will not play it. Also if you call and mention sucide or criminal activity of any kind I will forward your voice mail to the proper authorities.

Finally, I can’t promise anything. I will pray for every request that comes in and I am sure many of the members of the audience will as well. After that it is God’s hand.

I believe in the power of prayer and that God cares. And I believe that the people who hear these messages and can help, will; but I can’t make any promises about what might come of your message or what form any help might take.

The first show will be published on Monday September 28th. The deadline for calls for that show is 5:00 PM CT.
