THE DESERT by Bryon Morrigan

My review

rating: 3 of 5 stars

Good story and a great premise.

The basic story revolves around the Iraq’s WMD program accidentally opening a dimension rift and allowing strange creatures into our world and how two different groups of soldiers deal with these supernatural horrors. It is well told in a combination of one solider’s journal and immediate action. It is fast paced with only one major plot hole that is never fully resolved.

The book itself is small press, possibly self published, and suffers from several spelling, grammar, and printing mistakes.

All that being said this is an excellent first novel by Bryon Morrigan, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a military action with there supernatural horror.
