Cuh-foomp! A zombie flew back as something struck its collarbone. Its head whipped forward and snapped off.

Yeehaw!

From in the barricaded barn, Isaiah loaded a potato in the PVC pipe and squeezed the methane into the explosion chamber then sealed it up. He aimed, made the spark, and the cannon fired.

In the cow pens, Zach checked the catheters on the cows and harvested the methane capture bottles, replacing them with empty ones. He put the full bottles where Isaiah had easy access.

Many groups like this used the self-replicating ammo. Soon zombies were non-existent in rural areas everywhere.
