Pedro filled his sack, closed it, hefted it on his back and headed toward the warehouse one last time for the day. The five mile hike was getting harder on his old, callused feet with each passing day. If the price was right, Pedro will have saved just enough to buy a new pair of shoes. The ones the missionaries had given him 10 years ago had served him well but they hardly stayed on his feet. “Coffee,” Pedro cursed under his breath. What he earned today wouldn’t pay for a cup of the cursed liquid in the United States.

Mario swung the baseball bat again. WHACK ! “Do you see what happens to rats Eddy”? Two days ago Eddy got stopped by the cops and they found a pound of weed in his car. Instead of keeping his mouth shut Eddy decided to tell the cops all about Big Lou’s drug running operation. Eddy was tied to a picnic table in the state park. It was three in the morning and no one could hear him scream. Mario took the starving rat out of it’s cage and duct taped it inside Eddy’s pants. Driving home Mario thought “that’ll teach him”.
